Our family loves a good staycation, it makes it so much easier to fit a getaway into a busy week. Great food and fun pools are a must, and we love trying new places. We recently stayed at Pechanga Resort Casino for the first time and we all had a blast!
We stayed two nights in a well-appointed Junior Suite in their Resort Tower, which is the newest tower at Pechanga. The junior suite offered plenty of space for our family of four with a king bedroom and separate living room with a sofa bed. The Junior Suites also have the option of 2 queen beds if preferred.
We’ve been to Pechanga previously to visit the casino and to dine, but this was our first time staying overnight. The lobby area is gorgeous with the waterfall feature and adjacent atrium. Everything feels so luxurious and well thought out.
We dined at several different restaurants while at Pechanga, including Great Oak Steakhouse, 1882 Cantina, Blends Coffee and at The Cove, Pechanga’s gorgeous pool complex. All of the food was amazing and the service was phenomenal. Our kids are 9 and 13 and were made to feel very welcome even at the very fancy steakhouse.
The highlight of our trip was definitely our day spent in a cozy cabana at The Cove. The kids couldn’t get enough of the dual waterslides. Us parents loved sipping on the tropical cocktails while we watched the kids laugh and play. We entered the pool through the beautiful 4th floor garden terrace, I didn’t even know it was there!
We spent a bit of time in the casino at night and enjoyed drinks from The Round Bar. The casino floor at Pechanga is the largest on the West Coast, with over 200,000 square feet of gaming space! Honestly though, I couldn’t wait to get back to the super cozy bed after the long day in the sun.
