I just realized that I haven't posted on my feed since Austin's birthday 10 days ago! I guess I sort of froze when the LA fires broke out the next day. I've been glued to my TV and phone just trying to make sure all of my friends are okay. It's been so horrifying to see the destruction and loss of life, my heart is broken 💔
We are about 80 miles from the #EatonFire and 100 miles from the #PalisadesFire, so we were never in danger from those thank goodness. We did have several fires pop up closer to home during the Red Flag Warnings, but they were all extinguished quickly. The firefighters have done SUCH an amazing job, we are forever grateful.
To all who have lost a home, a loved one, a school, a business, my heart goes out to you. Los Angeles is made of strong, resilient, determined people, so if anyone can get through this, it's LA. You will all continue to be in my thoughts.
