Welcome to fall! I was so excited to open up my Stitch Fix October 2016 box and see a lot of fun fall colors inside. Even though it’s still 80 degrees here in San Diego, I’m excited for the slightly cooler weather ahead and the fun fall fashion that goes with it. Here’s a peak at what all I received this month:
Fun2Fun Walden V-Neck Blouse
I adore the color of this Fun2Fun Walden V-Neck Blouse, it’s nearly a perfect match for my green eyes! The fabric is luxe feeling but still lightweight enough for the transition to fall when it’s still quite warm where I live. Priced at $44, I think I’m going to have to keep this one! The blouse is versatile, but perfect to dress my mainly casual wardrobe up a bit for the season.
41Hawthorn Montgomery Cross Front Knit Top
I’m a 41Hawthorn junkie, I tend to love everything Stitch Fix sends me from this brand. However, this 41Hawthorn Montgomery Cross Front Knit Top ($48) just didn’t do it for me for some reason. I’m not a big fan of cross front tops with my large bust, they just never seem to stay put. The print was okay and I’m a fan of navy, but it just wasn’t enough to convince me to keep it.
O+O Miah Hooded Cardigan
Okay, I don’t think this O+O Miah Hooded Cardigan goes well at all with the top above as I wore it in the picture, but my camera battery was dying so I just went with it! I do love the cardigan, it’s SO soft and cozy for cool nights. However, I have a plethora of gray sweaters in my closet and could really use this in a different color instead! Priced at $54, I would probably have kept it had it been a different color, but sadly it’s going back.
Crescent Beamen Crochet Detail Knit Top
I just don’t really like much at all about this Crescent Beamen Crochet Detail Knit Top. Priced at $48, it’s rather sheer and probably best with layering which I’m not a huge fan of since I’m always warm! The mustard yellow color is pretty but I don’t feel like it’s a good color on me. The buttons at the neckline also pulled a little, so the fit isn’t ideal either, thus I’ll be sending it back.
Zad Bodega Hammered Caged Cuff
I was on the fence about the Zad Bodega Hammered Caged Cuff. Priced at $28, it seemed perhaps a bit low quality and I’m not sure it’ll last. But, for that price it’s not too big of a risk! For so long I have only worn silver toned jewelry and I’m just starting to wear more gold, so I could definitely use a gold bracelet!
Stitch Fix October 2016 Recap
My Stitch Fix October 2016 box had two items worth keeping and I’m somewhat glad that was it. I just got back from a vacation and need to watch my budget! I love my new Fun2Fun blouse and will get a lot of use out of the Zad Bodega Cuff I’m sure.
