After such a great Stitch Fix box in July, my expectations were higher than normal this month! Summer is in full swing and I was hoping for some fun summer dresses and tanks to wear on a couple of upcoming trips. Though I didn’t end up keeping everything like I did last month, I definitely found some fun new pieces! Read on for details about what all I received in my Stitch Fix August 2016 box…
Market & Spruce Mireille Dress
Navy is one of my fave clothing colors, so this Market & Spruce Mireille Dress caught my eye right away. I was getting ready for a trip to Mexico’s wine country the weekend after I received this fix and this dress seemed perfect! Priced at $68, it seemed like a great deal for a cute dress. Although I was on the fence a bit at first, once my husband told me how much he liked it I knew it was a keeper!
Brixon Ivy Kessie Knit Faux Wrap Dress
I was immediately drawn to the fun colors in this Brixon Ivy Kessie Knit Faux Wrap Dress. Priced at $64, it was another great deal as far as dresses go. Unfortunately, with my larger than average bust, wrap dresses are just tough for me as they don’t stay put! Sadly I had to send this one back, I’m so bummed!
Pixley Prague Split Neck Blouse & Pixley Tenille Mini Skirt
My Stitch Fix stylist recommended pairing this Pixley Prague Split Neck Blouse with the Pixley Tenille Mini Skirt for a nice contrast in prints. I didn’t really love either item on its own and definitely didn’t like them together! Priced at $54 and $58 respectively, I decided to send both of these back. The shirt was just too long in the back and the skirt was a bit snug, plus I’m just not a big mini skirt person.
Bay to Baubles Ale Arrowhead Pendant
This Bay to Baubles Ale Arrowhead Pendant really grabbed my attention for some reason. I don’t know if it was the color, the arrowhead shape or the fact that I just really need more gold-toned jewelry, but I love it! I wore it all weekend in Mexico and thought it was the perfect piece of jewelry for the trip. Priced at $48, I decided this one was a keeper for sure!
Stitch Fix August 2016 Recap
So there you have it, that’s the run down on my Stitch Fix August 2016 box. I kept two of the five items, not a bad month! I love how well my new Bay to Baubles pendant pairs with the Market & Spruce dress that I also kept. Love the blue dress!
Thanks! So glad I kept it! 🙂
