Complimentary tickets were given to my family to attend this LEGO® NINJAGO® World press event at LEGOLAND California. #NinjagoWorld #LegolandCA #LegolandBlogger
With much anticipation, the new LEGO® NINJAGO® World and NINJAGO® The Ride will debut at LEGOLAND California on May 5, 2016. As an Official LEGOLAND Blogger, my family was invited to preview the new attraction this week and what a celebration it was!
We were treated to a powerful drumming performance by Naruwan Taiko, an exciting ninja demonstration, samples of amazing food and a fun confetti finale. We were then able to take our first ride on NINJAGO The Ride and had a blast!
ABOUT NINJAGO WORLD
LEGO NINJAGO World and NINJAGO The Ride are located on the south-east side of LEGOLAND California Resort, directly behind Imagination Zone. Based on the popular LEGO NINJAGO on Cartoon Network, guests will enjoy interactive elements and a new ride where guests harness the power of four elements and use teamwork to battle the Great Devourer. The new world also offers Asian inspired cuisine at NINJA Kitchen and shopping at Wu’s Warehouse.
LEGO NINJAGO tells the story of four young ninja heroes – Kai, Jay, Cole and Zane – who train under the watchful eye of Master Wu to master an ancient martial art – Spinjitzu.
NINJAGO WORLD TRAINING AREAS
ZANE’S TEMPLE BUILD: Guests can tap into their inner imagination and create LEGO models inspired by NINJAGO.
KAI’S SPINNERS: Guests can test their balance as they stand on one of Kai’s spinning platforms and twirl!
COLE’S ROCK CLIMB: Grab a hold! Kids can test their agility as they scale a rock wall.
JAY’S LIGHTING DRILL: Are you lighting quick? Guests can test their speed by pushing the lit up buttons in the speed cage.
NINJAGO THE RIDE
Guests demonstrate their ninja skills without the use of a hand-held device and instead, they simply use their hand gestures. Riders collect points for their training and battle efforts throughout the ride and scores are displayed when their quest is completed. Heat, smoke and wind are incorporated throughout the adventure, giving guests the ultimate interactive experience.
NINJA KITCHEN AT NINJAGO WORLD
LEGOLAND chefs have put a special twist on Asian street food with Banh Mi Vietnamese sandwiches on fresh-baked baguette or steamed Bao Buns with your choice of crispy pork belly, lemongrass chicken or baked sweet chili tofu.
WU’S WAREHOUSE AT NINJAGO WORLD
Now inspired to be a ninja, guests can pick-up a gift or souvenir when they exit NINJAGO The Ride in Wu’s new store.
Our family had a great time checking out the new NINJAGO World at LEGOLAND California, we can’t wait to go back! Do you have a trip planned to LEGOLAND soon?
