This month’s Stitch Fix box was a great one with a lot of fun items that were perfect (or almost perfect) for me. Everything fit wonderfully too which is always a plus! Here’s the rundown on what all I received:
Market & Spruce Dido Mixed Print Knit Top & Liverpool Collen Straight Leg Jean
Let me start with these jeans, oh my goodness I love them. They are the perfect trifecta of stretchy fit, dark wash and flattering look. The Liverpool Collen Straight Leg Jean fits like a glove but feels like sweat pants. Priced at an affordable $78, these were a definite keeper from the moment I tried them on!
The Market & Spruce Dido Mixed Print Knit Top ($58, above) was cute, comfortable and fun. It fit well and I liked the contrast of the basic gray front and floral print back. Although not shown in my photo, the neckline was just a bit high and bland for me. I may have kept it had it been a v-neck or lower scoop neck as it just didn’t feel flattering on me from the front.
41Hawthorn Moni Studded Short Sleeve Blouse & Liverpool Collen Straight Leg Jean
The 41Hawthorn Moni Studded Short Sleeve Blouse below proves a point I made in another recent Stitch Fix post, I pretty much end up keeping everything sent to me by this brand! 41Hawthorn definitely speaks to me, and this month was no exception. Like last month, I loved the studded detail on this blouse. I thought the print was fun and perfect to pair with the Liverpool jeans. Priced at $54 and with a perfect fit, I had another item to add to my closet!
Pixley Alison Swing Dress & Franco Sarto Paloma Cork Heel
I really wanted to love the Pixley Alison Swing Dress, the fabric felt so comfortable and navy is one of my fave colors to wear. At $48 the price was right too, but once again the neckline kept me away. I think a slightly lower neckline or even a tank style in this dress may have made it a must-have for me. I was on the fence about it for a bit, it really was comfortable and would pair so well with a jean jacket for a casual day out or heels and statement jewelry for a night on the town. Ultimately though, I decided to send the dress back.
Franco Sarto Paloma Cork Heel
The Franco Sarto Paloma Cork Heel was just not me in any way. I didn’t so much mind the upper part of the shoe, but the big chunky heel is not my thing. I don’t mind the cork, but would’ve preferred a wedge with a bit more height to it perhaps. I feel like these just shortened my already short legs and the straps weren’t really all that comfortable either. These were priced at $89 but were an easy decision for me to send back.
