Fall Weather = Dry Skin
Although it gets a little boring sometimes, I guess I should count myself lucky that we have such predictable weather here in sunny San Diego almost year-round. I still look so forward to fall and winter every year though because it means that we have a slight chance of cooler temps and I can actually wear boots here and there.
My curly hair loves the drier autumn air and is so much easier to manage in the fall, but my skin is not a fan of lower humidity at all! Granted, we only drop from an average of maybe 75-80% humidity in the summer to 60-65% in the fall, but my skin feels it! I notice it especially after washing my face at night before bed. I find that sometimes, my summer time night creams just don’t cut it in the cooler, drier months.
At the age of 38, I’m also needing more and more to use effective anti-aging products. I also prefer products with as many natural ingredients as possible, and luckily they are becoming easier to find.
Derma e Hydrating Night Creme
One great product I recently discovered which meets all of my needs for the dry fall season is derma e Hydrating Night Creme. This creme hydrates the skin thoroughly with Hyaluronic Acid, known as nature’s moisture magnet, but also contains anti-aging antioxidants. In addition, derma e Hydrating Night Creme is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, mineral oil-free, lanolin-free, gluten-free and GMO-free, all huge pluses for me!
My Experience with
Derma e Hydrating Night Creme
So how does derma e Hydrating Night Creme perform? Wonderfully! My first impression was that it went on light, not overly thick like many ultra-moisturizing creams, but still moisturized very effectively. I also noticed that it almost has a mattifying effect, which I love! Sometimes I feel like a greaseball when I put on night creams and head downstairs to watch a movie with my husband, that’s not the case with this!
I’ve been using derma e Hydrating Night Creme for about 2 weeks now and am already noticing differences in the hydration level of my skin. I’m no longer feeling like my skin is dehydrated at the end of the day, and many of my fine lines have diminished.

Cost + Coupons
The best part about derma e Hydrating Night Creme is that it’s affordable! To me, it compares in performance and feel to many pricier night creams, but it’s only $25, and available at most Walgreens stores! That is truly a great value for a product that can really make a difference in your skin during the dry fall and winter months. You can even save a bit more by using these coupons for derma e products at Walgreens.
What is your skin like during the fall and winter months? Do you ever find that your skin feels a bit dehydrated compared to the summer months?
