derma e – 100% Gluten Free
If you are a regular reader of my blog, you know I’m a skincare fanatic. I love trying new products and helping friends find products to meet their specific skincare needs. One thing I’ve been hearing more and more is that people want more access to gluten-free skincare. It makes sense, if someone can’t eat gluten, they probably shouldn’t be rubbing it onto their skin either! My mom and aunt both suffer from celiac disease so there is definitely a keen awareness in our family about the importance of avoiding gluten for many people. I was elated to be invited to evaluate several products from derma e, all of which are natural and 100% gluten-free. I was asked to complete a derma evaluation to uncover the products that would best suit my skincare needs. From this list, I chose the 4 derma e products that I wanted to try. I chose the Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Toner, Hydrating Serum, Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A & Green Tea Advanced Creme and Evenly Radiant Dark Circle Eye Cream, all pictured below.
My Results
I love that derma e separates their products into different lines based on skincare concerns. As you can see, I received a couple of products to combat the signs of aging, but the eye cream was geared more towards my pesky dark circle problem and the serum delivers concentrated hydration while also helping with fine lines. My first impression? Amazing! I think it’s great that these products are natural, and I could definitely feel it! My skin loved everything and continues loving these products after a couple of weeks. I think my favorite of the four is the Evenly Radiant Eye Creme, formulated with Madonna Lily Plant Stem Cells, Bearberry, Niacinamide, Licorice and Green Tea to help fight discoloration for more a more evenly toned, luminous eye area. It’s one of few eye products that I’ve noticed immediate results with. Another standout for me was the Glycolic Toner. It is alcohol free and contains Vitamin A and purifying Marine Plant Extracts, so it’s very refreshing and not at all drying. Best of all, everything I tried was 100% gluten-free and perfectly safe for me to offer up to my mom to try when she comes to visit!
