My Skin Story
I’ve been rather blessed with good skin that hasn’t given me many problems thus far in life. But, at the age of 38, fine lines and lack of skin firmness are of growing concern. I feel so privileged to be able to try a ton of skincare products for free as a blogger, ranging from drug store finds to luxury products I could never afford! I love when I come across an affordable gem like the L’oreal Revitalift™ Anti Wrinkle + Firming line that I recently took for a month-long test drive. Like most of you, I grew up with L’Oreal everywhere, so the brand was already familiar to me. I’ve used their hair care products among others, but had yet to try a L’Oreal Revitalift™ regimen.
L’Oreal Revitalift™ Consultation
I took the consultation at lorealskinexpert.com (see above screenshot) and it was recommended that I use the L’Oreal Revitalift™ Anti-Wrinkle + Firming group of products based on my unique skin concerns. So, this is what L’Oreal sent me to try out! I received a L’Oreal Revitalift™ Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Day Cream SPF 18, a L’Oreal Revitalift™ Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Night Cream and a L’Oreal Revitalift™ Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Eye Cream. Fortified with Pro-Retinol A and Stimuplex, Revitalift™ Anti-Wrinkle + Firming works to increase cell turnover, reduce wrinkles, firm skin, and provide 24-hour hydration. I was asked to use the products for 4 weeks then report on my results, so here they are!
My Results
Truth be told, I was sold after just one week! Something about this line just feels so right for my skin. I usually pick out a favorite product or 2 when I’m reviewing a whole line and with these it’s tough because really all 3 were my favorite! They all feel very smooth and luxurious on the skin, had I tested these blindly I could’ve easily pegged them as a high-end expensive brand. The L’Oreal Revitalift™ Anti-Wrinkle + Firming products hydrate the skin extremely well, but also absorb well so your face isn’t left feeling greasy in any way. I love the mild scent that is not at all overpowering but makes you feel like you’re getting a European facial every time you use these products! The SPF 18 is also a great addition as many good day creams don’t contain any sun protection at all. As for visible results, I definitely noticed them within a couple of weeks. My skin appeared smoother, more firm, more supple and with less fine lines. I think it’s tough comparing before and after pictures sometimes because of variations in lighting and makeup, but here’s a picture I took of myself in Vegas during the 4th week of the L’Oreal Revitalift™ Anti-Wrinkle + Firming regimen:
