My 7-year old son Austin is in year-round school, so he’s been back at it for a couple of weeks now. It’s tough doing back to school shopping in the middle of summer, but we were so glad to see that Carter’s had everything we needed! From summer shorts and colorful tees to jeans and hoodies for the upcoming transition to fall, he had a great time picking out new clothes. Austin is newly a size 8, so the new size 8 offering at Carter’s was a perfect fit for him.
Kids around my son’s age often love getting involved in their back to school shopping, which makes Carter’s a great choice. They provide a great assortment of easy outfit sets, coordinated collections and ready-to-play shorts and tees for fashionable kids. As a mom, I love that all of the clothes at Carter’s are age-appropriate as he’s a bit big for his age. Sometimes, the size 8 offerings at other stores are in the older boys section and he can’t find the type of clothing he prefers to wear.
We were thrilled that when we visited Carter’s, it was during their huge store-wide 40% off sale. We scored some great deals! Austin picked out several $5 tees and I helped him find a new basic black hoodie and a nice dress shirt. He wanted some fresh new PJs for fall when it starts to cool off, so I let him pick out a pair of those as well. As we were heading to check out, he set his sights on a pair of new shoes. I assumed they wouldn’t have his size at Carter’s, but I was wrong as they now carry up to a size 3! We tried them on and they fit perfect, so we threw the shoes into our shopping bag as well, he was so happy! He wanted to treat his little sister who came along with a new necklace and some jeggings, and all of that rang in right at $100, not bad! His sister happily played with the wooden ice cream set at the play table the entire time we shopped, it’s so nice having that there in our store for the kids!
