When recently approached for a blog review by Lavido, a skincare company I was not yet familiar with, I immediately scoped out their website and fell in love with their products based off of descriptions alone! I knew I had to give them a try with their natural and amazing ingredients such as evening primrose, frankincense and Bulgarian lavender. Each of Lavido’s products is made with raw, plant-based ingredients that are combined with volcanic thermal springs and purified waters from the Sea of Galilee. Lavido begun as a company with one baby cream created by Ido Magal in his kitchen in 2003 and has grown to have hundreds of retail partners, a chain of signature stores and global distributorships today. How I had not heard of them before I am not sure, but I can definitely tell you I’m a huge fan now! The product packaging is just gorgeous and has such an exotic and luxurious feel to it, it made for a great first impression!
The Lavido products I received to facilitate my review included the following:
- Age Away Hydrating Cream with Evening Primrose, Sea Buckthorn, & Pumpkin Seed (50ml/$48)
- Invigorating Facial Serum with Evening Primrose Seed, Frankincense, and Rose Hip (30ml/$50)
- Alert Eye Cream with Pomegranate Seed, Rose Hip, and Citrus with Hyaluronic Acid (30ml/$46)
- Intoxicating Body Wash with Mandarin, Orange, and Bergamot (250ml/$21)
For me, the biggest benefit of Lavido products is the natural ingredients they contain. Not only do these natural products feel great on the skin, they smell wonderful too! In particular, the Invigorating Facial Serum just smells like complete heaven to me. I feel like I’m in a high-end spa every time I use it! Not to mention, it is wonderfully hydrating for the skin! I used the serum while on vacation in Lake Tahoe and it was perfect to help combat the dry, cold air and its effects on my skin. I think out of the 4 products I tried, this serum was definitely one of my favorites. I think my other fave would be the Age Away Hydrating Cream which has such a silky feel to it and helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. I definitely have started to notice a more youthful look to my skin after using these products for several weeks, in particular my laugh lines and forehead lines have nearly disappeared. The eye cream and body wash are also wonderful and I love the subtle scent the body wash leaves behind on my skin. Now I want to try the body lotion too! I’m so glad I discovered this line of products and definitely look forward to trying more of them!
